Ghanaian social media influencer, Bongo Ideas, who seem to always have opinions about any issue in the country has chosen "vawulence" over peace when he woke up this morning. There's been mixed reactions about the feature between late Bob Marley and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie. The name of the song is stir it up refix.
It has received positive reactions from most music lovers but there are few who seem not to like the feature at all and Bongo ideas is one of them.
Here is what he had to say about the whole feature:
"Shatta Wale’s project with Beyoncé is bigger than any int'l collabo of Sarkodie's, including his recent one with Bob Marley. Obidi tryna catch up, but they aren’t co-equals.
They said Obidi would feature someone bigger than JAY-Z, only for him to do a refix version of a 30-year-old Bob Marley track and celebrate it like a Grammy win.
Y’all think Bob Marley would agree to a feature with Sarkodie if he were alive? Rapper spitting "Twi bars" (an unrelated dialect) on a reggae tune? Pure PR works; Dey Play.
To conclude, Sarkodie is the first Ghanaian artist to be featured by a ghost (Bob Marley). The DEAD only features the DEAD."
